Meath manager Eamonn O'Brien has praised his players' work-rate after the win over Armagh.

The Royals dug deep to nick a 2-8 to 0-13 victory in Navan on Saturday night and their manager believes their willingness to work for one another saw them through:

"We dug very deep and defended well after the great start in the second half.

"They came back very well and were winning a lot of good possession around midfield. They really put it up to us.

"Going long periods without scoring is something we need to look at but I'm very pleased with the work-rate of the players." Tweet
