Limerick's Seanie Buckley
Seanie Buckley will captain the Limerick footballers for a second year running, manager Mickey Ned O'Sullivan has confirmed.
As the only player from county champions Dromcollogher-Broadford in the squad, it comes as no surprise that the 24-year-old half forward has retained the captaincy. Buckley has become a key member of the side since making his championship debut in 2005.
O'Sullivan also confirmed that long-serving goalkeeper Sean Kiely has retired from inter-county football. Kiely will be replaced between the posts for Sunday's rescheduled McGrath Cup preliminary round clash with WIT by Conor Ranahan, who is a brother of established Limerick star Pa Ranahan.
