McGilligan fires warning to players

Derry hurling manager Brian McGilligan has stressed that unless his charges show a marked improvement in the Ulster SHC semi final against Down, then they have 'no chance' of winning.
Despite grinding out a one-point win over an ever improving London side, the Derry manager was far from happy and criticised his players' work ethic during the game.
"Over the hour, I felt London were the better team, the only fault they had was that they were individuals and didn't play as a unit. Derry, we hadn't even individuals. We were just very lucky to get the goals at the right time," stressed McGilligan.
Speaking of the Down clash, McGilligan was in no doubt that performance against London would not be good enough to earn a place in the Ulster SHC final.
"It's going to be a mighty hard task. On the London performance, not a chance."
