Kerry senior hurling manager Mossie Carroll has revealed his first 15 for this Saturday's Christy Ring Cup first round clash with Mayo in Tralee.
As had been speculated, the Kingdom boss has handed former Tipperary senior Evan Sweeney a county debut in the forward line, as the Loughmore-Casleiney club man lines out at right half-forward.
Centre-back Tom Murnane will captain the side as Kerry look to make amends for their relegation from Division Two of the NHL against the Westerners tomorrow at Austin Stack Park.
