Despite stepping down as vice-chairman of the Longford County Board, James Clarke has been nominated for the top seat on the executive for this year's convention. However, it remains to be seen whether or not Clonguish clubman would run against Pat Cahill for the position of chairman. Clarke has also stood down as chairman of the CCCC. Following Michael Carrigy's decision not to seek re-election as chairman of the minor board, there will be at least one new personnel on the executive. Tweet
