For the second year in a row John Mitchels have been recognised for their excellently kept facilities by being awarded the Best Presented Football Grounds prize by Louth County Council. The mid-Louth club's efforts during the year have been rewarded yet again by the powers that be in the local authority, as Mitchels have a ground that is the envy of most in the Wee County. While it has been a tough year on the field for the Mitchels, the pride and commitment shown in the upkeep and improvement of their facilities is an indication of the strength of the club.
