Mitchels looking good
October 30, 2008
For the second year in a row John Mitchels have been recognised for their excellently kept facilities by being awarded the Best Presented Football Grounds prize by Louth County Council.
The mid-Louth club's efforts during the year have been rewarded yet again by the powers that be in the local authority, as Mitchels have a ground that is the envy of most in the Wee County.
While it has been a tough year on the field for the Mitchels, the pride and commitment shown in the upkeep and improvement of their facilities is an indication of the strength of the club.
Ardee, St. Mary's won the bronze medal while Glyde Rangers were deemed second in the category.
