Kevin Lynch's captain Liam Hinphey believes that their greater championship experience was a key factor in their success over Swatragh in the Derry SHC final. The Dungiven side lifted the title for the third consecutive time following a hard earned victory over a Swatragh side that was contesting their first final. "Yes, we have some very experienced player and some very good players with experience. We defended well in the closing stages, but we were fortunate that Ruairi Convery missed a couple of frees in the closing minutes," said Hinphey. "I think we deserved the victory. We were the better side over the hour. Once we got the goal we were never behind at any stage. Three in a row, it has been a while since a Dungiven team achieved that." Tweet
