London ladies celebrate

London captain Sinead Daly rejoices with the Ladies All Ireland JFC Cup at Croke Park
When London Captain Sinead Daly lifted the West County Cup for the All Ireland Ladies Junior Football Championship, wild celebrations kicked off with the team and families going to their main sponsors Ballymore corporate box where they were welcomed by Paul Keogh, a lavish spread was laid on for them and they were able to watches the other games in luxury.
Afterwards it was back to the teams hotel, Bewleys airport, where food and champagne was laid on, then Coach Driver Michael Carrigey took everyone to McGowans in Phibsboro to continue the celebrations.

Everyone was up reasonably early the next morning, and after breakfast Brendan Moyles showed a DVD of the final, then a little late four of the party visited Scoil an Spoiraid Naomh, in Laytown Co Meath where Sinead Daly father Maurice is the principal, a great reception was given to the players by choldren and teachers alike, one of the teachers there is Sarah McLaughlin who won an Intermediate All Ireland last year with Leitrim, then it was back to the hotel to rejoin the rest of the party and relax for a few hours before leaving for the airport.
A big welcome home party is being held tonight in the Garryowen in Twickenham, where the cup will make its first official appearance in London, the Garryowen have been generous sponsors to the team as have the Shawl in South Harrow and a night is planned there after the weekend, when celebrations will have to be curtailed somwhat owing to County championship games.
