The under-16 boys team saw off the challenge of Castlerea at home in the league last Thursday night. Their next game is due against St. Aidan's in Ballyforan this Sunday at 12 noon. The under-11's lost out to a very strong Boyle side in the recent Keenan Cup final, which was the club's first ever appearance in the decider. The players were: Ciaran Lavin, Jason Tuite, James Laferty, Shane Quinn, Sean Groarke, James Walshe, Ciaran Walshe, Patrick Loftus, Hayden Impey, Rebecca Finan, Ronan Cahill, Conor Coleman, Jamie Creaton, Liam Creaton, Eoin Callaghan, Aaron Woods, Eoghan Walsh, Matthew Webb, Thomas Dolan, Mark Finan, Cathal Groake, Joe McDonald, Rhys Keenan, Ronan Dooney, John Costello, Jarlath Lavin, Brandon McGreevey, Waren McGreevey. Our under-8's took part in a home and away fun blitz with Castlerea St.Kevin's last week. Players; Eoghan Walsh, Ciaran Walsh, Matthew Webb, Jarleth Lavin, John Costello, Keelan Callaghan, Jason Doorey, Conor Fitzmaurice, Conor McGreevey, Jack McDonnell, Cathal Groarke, Fintan Roddy, Jason Reidy, Jason Doorey,Jamesie Green,Liam Coleman Training continues on Monday evenings at 7pm for the under-11's. Our under 8's play Elphin this Thursday night, September 25th, in Elphin at 6.30pm. With the under age season coming to an end the club would like to thank all persons who have given their time unselfishly towards development of our youth structure in the club. The under-16 girls bowed out of the championship after a defeat to St. Mary's in the quarter final. The girls put up a strong and brave performance against strong opposition. The panel for the year was; Stephanie Helbert, Michelle Hanley, Emma Hannon, Shauna Finan, Sinead Hollowed, Eilis Barrett, Sandra Deery, Imelda Scally, Niamh Flanagan, Kylie Roddy, Maria McCarthy, Brid O'Hara, Orla Madden, Sarah Gordon, Rebecca Cox, Caitriona Dockery, Philipa Helbert, Sinead Groake.
