Tuohy hopes for Carlton move

Laois defender Zac Tuohy has admitted that he would throw himself at the prospect of playing AFL football next season.
Tuohy completed a two-week trial with Melbourne club Carlton last week and feels that playing in an professional sport would be a dream come true.
"It would be a huge deal to be offered a contract, for me and my family," said Tuhoy.
"It's always been a dream to play a professional sport. When you play football at home you never really expect to get the opportunity to play because Gaelic is an amateur sport.
"So I think that most Gaelic footballers, if given the opportunity, would take it."
Carlton General Manager of football operations Steven Icke has lauded the young Laois star and is expected to decide whether or not he will bring him 'Down Under' for contract talks before the year is out.
"He's a very impressive young lad," said Icke. "We've known about him for some time.
"He adapted really well to the oval ball but we don't have to make a decision until the middle of December."
