Aireagal Chiarain club notes

August 28, 2008
Adult fixtures are back on the agenda for this week's football, with the junior reserves taking on Clogher on Wednesday (7.15p.m. Dunmoyle). It's a busy week for the juniors all round, a reserve game away to Brackaville on Thursday (7.15p.m.) is followed by a double away fixture versus Aghaloo on Saturday (5.00p.m. & 6.30p.m.). Senior reserves return to action on Friday with an away match against Coalisland (7.15p.m.) Underage action continues on Wednesday at 7.15p.m. as we make the journey to Derrylaughan for the next league game. This will be preparation for our championship tie on Saturday against Augher in Dunmoyle at 2.00p.m. Best of luck to all involved. We are hosting an U-8 blitz in Dunmoyle on Saturday morning (10.30a.m.) with many local teams taking part. A great morning's football is guaranteed with the stars of the future on show. The minor league semi-final is due to be played next week, but this is dependant upon the Tyrone minor's result. Thanks to all those who took part in the U-12 girls' sponsored walk on Saturday. A large amount of money was raised, congratulations to everyone who took part. Our U-16 girls lost narrowly after extra time to Glenelly. They take on the same opposition in the league on Monday evening. Best wishes to our senior and minor representatives for Sunday's All-Ireland semi-finals. The Alphalot draw will be made later in the week due to the Bank Holiday. Alphalot letters this week are C M R V X. Ryan McKenna, Moya Gormley and Cathal Nugent matched four to win £70 each. Next week's jackpot will be £11200.
