Senior & Reserve Team News: The next league game is away to Castlederg, next Saturday 30th, Reserves at 5pm and Seniors at 6.30pm. On Tuesday night Clogher travel to play Errigal Ciaran 3rds Reserves at 7.15pm Transoprt leaves at 6.30pm. Also on Thursday night Clogher Reserves are at home to Derrytresk at 7.15pm. So there is plenty of football on offer this week. In the Reserve Knock against Beragh, Clogher lost out 2.6 to 1.6 with two bad goals proving the downfall. A big effort is required from all players to attend all games this week. This is the Club's only major Fundraiser and it is important that Club members fully support the Draw. £1000 ON OFFER, every month. Please make sure all payments are in on time. Next Draw is this Sun 31st August. This is the half way stage in the draw so if you have paid up to date the 2nd half of the yearly payments is now due. Youth Fixtures. Training will continue on Monday at 7.30pm for all U.16's. The U.16 Championship preliminary Rd is fixed for Sat 30th Aug at 2pm away to Ardboe. Transport will leave at 12.45pm. All players must be at training on Monday night at 7pm Youth Underage Coaching. The Club are due to host the next U.8 Blitz on Sat next 30th August at 10.30am. Parents are asked to help out with Refreshments and Teas. The Youth coaching for both U8's and U.10's will resume on Sat 6th September at the usual time 10.30am to 11.30am. Parents should ensure their children are picked up on time. The Annual John O'Hanlon Memorial U.12 Tournament took place on Sat, thank you to all the Club members and parents who helped out on the day. A special Thank you to the O'Hanlon family for their help. In the John O'Hanlon final Pomeroy defending their title came up against near neighbours Galbally.The game went to Extra time with Pomeroy holding on to the title In the St Patrick's Cup final Clogher Éire Óg's lost out by the narrowest of margins 1.8 to 0.10 in an absorbing game. The player of the Final award went to Cloghers young Conor Shields. A great days exhibition of football from all the teams involved U12's. The game against Stewartstown will now be played hopefully on Friday 29th Aug at 7pm in Clogher. The game against Augher went ahead on Monday 25th Aug. Clogher Coaching Summer Camp. The annual coaching camp organized by the Club for all players from 6yrs up to 14 yrs took place on both Thursday and Friday. Five of the Top Coaches from Tyrone, Derry, Fermanagh and Monaghan were present to help coach our young Boys & Girls. A big Thank you to Paul Quinn of the Tyrone Senior team squad who was present to speak to the players and pass on a few tips. Tyrone V. Wexford - All Ireland Semi-final for both the Seniors and Minors on Sunday 31st Aug. There was a big application for tickets for the games. Only paid up Club members will qualify for the draw. Tickets will be given out on Wednesday 26th at 8pm for Committee members and players and 8.30pm for all other paid up Club members. All tickets must be collected and paid for on the night U.13 LEAGUE - The U.13 League commences on 4th September, at home to Newtownstewart, at 7pm followed by an away game on Thursday 8th against Glenelly.
