Senior Hurling Championship
Raharney 1-11 Crookedwood 0-13. In the first round of the championship Raharney were extremely fortunate to win this game by a single point courtesy of an injury time goal by Robbie Greville. In a game where Raharney failed to establish any kind of fluency or rhythm, the Crookedwood men were seconds away from a historic victory. A serious improvement in our performance will be required if we are to have any impact in the championship this year. Raharney lined out as follows S Morley, T Doyle, C Jordan, M Glennon, D Giles, B Connaughton, A Sheils, D Mullen, G Greville, F Boyle, R Greville, S Quinn, D Riggs, P Greville, N Flanagan. Raharney are due to play Oliver Plunketts in the next round and this game has been fixed for Friday August 02nd at 7PM in Cusack Park .

Intermediate Hurling Championship
Raharney 0-11 Brownstown 1-08. Played on the back pitch in Kinnegad, Raharney and Brownstown shared the spoils after a very competitive and entertaining match played in blustery conditions. Playing with the wind in the first half, Raharney led 0-06 to 0-04 at half time. Playing some great hurling in the second half Raharney led by a single point in injury time but Brownstown grabbed a late point to draw the game. Minor Hurling Championship
Raharney 2-18 Clonkill 1-08. Although missing a few key players, Raharney had an emphatic win over Clonkill in the first round of the championship. Playing with great style and teamwork Raharney battled well in the first half and trailed by 2 having played against the wind. In the second half Raharney dominated every position and ran out comfortable winners. Joristown
There has been significant progress with the pitch development. All sand has now been spread and ducting place between the 2 pitches. Seeding of the pitches will take place over the next fortnight. Anybody who wishes to come and have a look is more than welcome. We will be requiring assistance over the next months with various projects at Joristown and we would greatly appreciate any help. Please contact any committee member for further details.

Cuil Camp
A reminder to all players, parents and coaches the annual Killucan Raharney Cuil camp will take place the week commencing Monday August 12th in Killucan pitch for 5 days from 10AM to 2PM each day. The cost per child is €40 with coaching in both hurling and football available to all participants. Early registration and payment is advised.
