John West National Feile Na nGael Camogie Competition

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club, as a consequence of winning the Division 1 Westmeath Feile na nGael Camogie competition, represented Westmeath in the 2026 John West National Feile na nGael Camogie competition, which took place in Carlow and Laois on Saturday June 20th.
Lough Lene Gaels was drawn in Group 1 of Division 3 alongside host club Mount Leinster Rangers (Carlow), St Bridgets (Armagh) and Four Roads (Roscommon).

Lough Lene Gaels played the 2026 U16 Division 1 Camogie League competition winners Castletown Geoghegan in a Round 1 match of the 2026 U16 Division 1 Camogie Championship on Monday evening June 22nd. Castletown Geoghegan was the match venue.
When the clubs contested a Divisional fixture of the U16 Division 1 Camogie league at Decotek Park, Collinstown on Monday evening May 4th, a drawn match was the outcome, Lough Lene Gaels 5.05 (20) Castletown Geoghegan 3.11 (20). In this more recent meeting of those clubs in a competitive U16 club fixture, the outcome of that fixture favoured Lough Lene Gaels.

Sincere Sympathy

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club extends its sincere sympathy to Westmeath Camogie Board officer and Castletown Geoghegan Camogie Club officer Jackie Jackson, bereaved on Thursday June 18th by the death of her father, Mr James Kirby, Castletown Geoghegan.
