Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club is scheduled to be a participating club in Division 1 of the 2026 Westmeath Senior Camogie League.

All Ireland U16 (B) Camogie Championship

Meath’s Dunganny venue is where Westmeath contested a Round 2 Divisional fixture of the U16 (B) All Ireland Camogie Championship on Sunday March 8th, Westmeath v Meath. Lough Lene Gaels Camogie club was represented on the Westmeath panel of players selected for the playing of that match. Westmeath 1.08 Meath 1.02 was the half time match scoreline. Westmeath 2.11 Meath 2.09 was the match result, a win for Westmeath by a margin of two points. In the wake of a Round 1 defeat to Carlow in the same competition a week previously, this Round 2 match was a “must win” fixture for Westmeath. Therefore, Westmeath still remains in contention to qualify for the knockout phase of the cup section of this competition.

Leinster U16 (C) Camogie Championship

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie club had player representation on the Westmeath panel of players that played Meath in a rescheduled Round 1 divisional phase match of the Leinster U16 (C) Camogie Championship at Dunganny on Sunday March 15th. Last Sunday’s fixture was scheduled to have been played in late January 2026. Westmeath 0.05 Meath 0.00, was the match scoreline at half time. The match result was, Westmeath 3.05 Meath 1.03, a win for Westmeath by a margin of eight points.

Westmeath and Armagh have both qualified from group 1 to contest the semi finals phase of the All Ireland Minor (B) Camogie Championship. Down and Meath have qualified from Group 2 for the semi finals of this competition.
