Slevins Coaches SHAC Semi Final
Lough Lene Gaels defeated Raharney on a 2.18 to 2.17 scoreline in a, and please excuse the use of the following stated clichés, intense, pulsating, high octane, frenzied, dramatic and superbly contested semi final fixture of the Slevins Coaches Senior A Hurling Championship, played at Mullingar's TEG Cusack Park on Sunday last October 5th.
Lough Lene Gaels 1.12 Raharney 1.08, was the half time match scoreline. Lough Lene Gaels will play defending champions and championship favourites Castletown Geoghegan in the final of this competition. On Monday September 29th, numbers drawn for a lotto jackpot of E4100 were 2, 7, 19 and 30. The jackpot was not won. Richard Carroll, London, UK and Damien Peppard were match 3 winners, winning E50 each. Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club and online ticket sold the Match 3 winning tickets. Next lotto draw takes place for a jackpot of E4100 on Monday evening October 13th at the Decotek Park Clubhouse at 7pm.
Na Piarsaigh - U16 Grade
Turin and Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Clubs both congratulate Na Piarsaigh on qualifying for the final of the U16 Division 1 Hurling championship final. Na Piarsaigh will play Clan na nGael in the final of that competition.

Hosted important match
Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club hosted a semi final fixture of the Slevins Coaches IHC at Decotek Park Collinstown on Saturday October 4th, Turin v Southern Gaels, at relatively short notice. Sincere thanks and gratitude to all persons who carried out all the necessary important duties to ensure that all the important pertinent matters as regards the hosting of the said match passed off smoothly. Turin 1.13 Southern Gaels 0.15, was the result of that semi final fixture, Turin winning by a one point margin.
