U14 Division 1 Camogie Championship - Cup Final
Lough Lene Gaels.......6.06
Drumraney...................6.04
Lough Lene Gaels won the Westmeath U14 Division 1 Camogie Championship Cup competition for a third year in succession, when defeating Drumraney in a dramatic, exciting and entertaining 2025 final, played at The Downs on Sunday September 14th.
Having played with the assistance of a useful breeze in the first half of this fixture, Lough Lene Gaels held the half time interval lead on a 4.04 to 1.02 scoreline. Would a lead of 11 points be enough to obtain success, with both a very good Drumraney team and a lively breeze to face in the second half, was the thought of those persons in attendance, and with a Purple and Gold affiliation at half time? As events proved, Drumraney did obtain the second half scores to bring themselves tantalising close to achieving a sporting comeback of all sporting comebacks. Lough Lene Gaels though did themselves notch all important vital scores at crucial moments of play in the second half, achieving victory by an extremely small margin. Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club warmly and sincerely congratulates it's 2025 U14 Panel of players and team management on this, a magnificent success.
