Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club concluded its schedule of fixtures in Division 1 of the Senior Camogie League at Raharney versus Raharney on Sunday June 29th.

Clonkill had already secured a place in the final, and any one of the trio of Lough Lene Gaels, Raharney and Castletown Geoghegan would subsequently go on to contest the final v Clonkill. Lough Lene Gaels played with an important formula conspiring of discipline, dedication, concentration and determination in the second half, going on to win this match by a margin of 14 points on a final scoreline of, Lough Lene Gaels 2.12 Raharney 0.04. For their part, Castletown Geoghegan played superbly to feat Clonkill on a scoreline of Castletown Geoghegan 4.06 Clonkill 1.04.

Lough Lene Gaels will now play Clonkill in the final of the 2025 Westmeath Senior Camogie Division 1 competition. Leinster Camogie Poc Fada Competition 

 

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club extends its sincere congratulations to Sionnainn McCormack on her magnificent performance in the U16 Leinster Poc Fada Camogie final, which took place in Carlow last Saturday June 28th, even though a ultimate success did prove all too elusive.

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club is delighted to extends its sincere congratulations to Southern Gaels Camogie Club player Patricia Coote on winning the Leinster Camogie Club Poc Fada Camogie final, which also took place in Carlow last Saturday June 28th, a magnificent achievement. Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club extends its sincere best wishes to Patricia in the forthcoming All Ireland Camogie Poc Fada final, which takes place in the Cooley mountains in County Louth in early August next.

 

U14 Camogie Championship - Round 3

 

Decotek Park Collinstown is wherever a Round 3 Divisional fixture of the U14 Camogie Championship, Lough Lene Gaels v Clonkill, was played on Monday evening, June 23rd. Lough Lene Gaels, thanks to scores at crucial moments of play in the first half, has possession of the match lead at half time. The trend of play did favour Lough Lene Gaels in the second half. This fixture was won by Lough Lene Gaels
