37th Annual General Meeting
Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club held its 37th Annual General Meeting at Collinstown Hall on Thursday night, November 23rd.
The 2024 Officer Board of Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club, is as stated hereafter:
Chairman - Martin Griffith
Vice Chairperson - Sheila Devine
Secretaries - Elaine Masterson, and one (1) position that currently remains vacant.
Treasurer - Sandra Coplan
Assistant Treasurer - Richard (Dickie) Carroll
Registrars - Damien Duffy and Stephen Maxwell
Development Officer - Christo Murtagh
PRO Social media - Karen McNicholas
PRO Print media - David Kelly
Delegates to Westmeath Camogie Board - Aisling Duffy and Richard (Dickie) Carroll.
Reserve/Stand by Delegate - David Kelly.
Child Protection Officer - Position to be filled, via a decision of the 2024 Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club executive.
Outgoing Officers, Vice Chairperson - Helen Ginnell, Joint Secretary - Elizabeth Hannon, Treasurer - Joanne Williams, Development Officer - Shaunagh Maher, and Delegate to Westmeath Camogie Board - Aoife Higgins Lawlor, did not seek re election to the positions as stated.
Outgoing Chairperson Sheila Devine, did not seek re election to that executive position in which she served in this year of 2023.
In 2024, Sheila will though continue to serve Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club on its officer board, as its Vice Chairperson.
Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club warmly and sincerely pays tribute to, and gratefully thanks, Sheila, Helen, Elizabeth, Joanne, Shaunagh and Aoife, for their first class service in 2023, to Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club, via the positions that they held on its officer board.
Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club extends its sincere best wishes to incoming Chairman Martin Griffith, incoming Vice Chairperson Sheila Devine, incoming Treasurer Sandra Coplan, incoming Development Officer Christo Murtagh, and incoming Delegate to the Westmeath Camogie Board, Aisling Duffy.
A position of Joint Secretary, as already previously stated in this article, remains unfilled.
As regards the position of Child protection officer, that position will be filled via an appointment, made by the officer board of Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club.

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club extends its sincere congratulations to St Munnas Camogie Club, on winning the 2023 Leinster Junior B Club Camogie Championship competition last Saturday, November 25th. St Munnas defeated the Arklow Rock Parnells, the Wicklow representatives, on a 3.11 to 0.00 scoreline in the final, played at Ashbourne, County Meath.
Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club furthermore, extends its sincere best wishes to St Munnas Camogie Club in the All Ireland phase of the Junior B Club Camogie Championship competition.
Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club also extends its sincere best wishes to Meath's Na Fianna Camogie Club, in the All Ireland phase of the Intermediate Club Camogie Championship competition.
Sincere Condolences
Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club extends its sincere condolences to it's Senior grade player Jane Nangle, Jane's mother Theresa, and the Nangle and Kennedy families, bereaved on Tuesday November 14th, as a consequence of the death of Mrs Ann Kennedy, Cloughbrack, Ballivor, County Meath - RIP.
The deceased lady is the grandmother and mother respectively, of Jane and Theresa Nangle.
Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club also extends its sincere condolences to the family of Michael McCormack, Drumcondra, Dublin, a native of Fore, who died on Monday, November 13th - RIP.
Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club also extends its sincere condolences to Collinstown resident Michael Carrigy, who was bereaved on Tuesday November 21st, by the death of his brother, Patrick (Pat) Carrigy, Cloran, Athboy, County Meath, and Clonmellon - RIP.
Lotto Information
Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club informs its officer board, members, Senior grade players, parents and guardians of underage and juvenile players, and supporters, that the next lotto draw, which is scheduled to take place on Sunday Night December 17th, is the 2023 Christmas lotto draw.
A number of extra prizes can be won, via the purchase of the standard lotto tickets.
