U12 Camogie League Division 1 Cup final -  Congratulations 

 

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club extends its warm and sincere congratulations to its 2023 U12 panel of players, and team management, on the winning the 2023 Westmeath U12 Camogie League Division 1 title. 

 

Lough Lene Gaels defeated St Munnas in the Division 1 Cup final of the U12 Camogie League, played at Raharney on last Sunday September 1st.

 

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club extends its sincere gratitude to both the Westmeath Camogie Board, and St Munnas Camogie Club, for agreeing to bring forward the match starting time of last Sunday's U12 Division 1 Camogie League final.

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club extends its sincere condolences to it's former player, Jennifer Hill, her parents Patrick and Catherine Cooney, her brother Patrick, her grandmother, and close and extended members of the Cooney family, bereaved on Wednesday August 30th, by the untimely death of Jennifer's brother, Robert Cooney, Carpenterstown, Castlepollard. RIP.

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club extends its sincere condolences to the husband, nephew, nieces, other family members, if Elizabeth (Eily) Kiernan, nee Flynn, Rathfarnham, Dublin, a native of Glenidan, Collinstown, who died on Wednesday August 30th. RIP.

Group 2, Round 3 Divisional fixture - Lough Lene Gaels v Castlepollard on Sunday September 10th.

 

U14 Camogie Championship 

 

Lough Lene Gaels played Cullion in a Division 1 Cup semi final of the U14 Camogie Championship on Monday evening, August 28th. This fixture was played at Cullion. Lough Lene Gaels won this semi final fixture. 

 

Lough Lene Gaels will play defending champions Raharney in the final of this competition. 

 

That fixture, Lough Lene Gaels v Raharney, is scheduled to be played at Delvin on Sunday September 17th. 

Match starting time 1pm.

 

U16 Camogie Championship 

 

Lough Lene Gaels concluded its schedule of fixtures in the Divisional phase of the U16 Camogie Championship, with a fixture v Clonkill, played at Collinstown on Wednesday evening, August 30th. Lough Lene Gaels won this, a very competitive fixture. 

 

Lough Lene Gaels has qualified for the final of this competition. 

 

The 2023 U16 Division 1 Cup championship final, Lene Gaels v Raharney, is scheduled to be played at Mullingar's TEG Cusack Park on Wednesday evening, September 6th.
