Senior Camogie Championship 

 

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club is one of four clubs drawn in Group 2 of the Senior Camogie Championship, alongside Raharney, Delvin and St Brigid's. 

Group 1 consists of Clonkill, Castletown Geoghegan, Crookedwood, Cullion and Drumraney.

All fixtures in both groups will be played on a single round format. Following the completion of the playing of all fixtures in both groups, the clubs placed in first and second places, will go on to contest the semi finals phase fixtures of this competition.

Lough Lene Gaels will play St Brigid's in a Round 1 fixture of Group 2 of this competition.

 

Clothing collection 

 

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club has its  fundraising clothing collection still in place. Donations of items of clothing are welcomed. Please contact either Sheila Devine 087.6734509, or Richard Carroll 087.9860338, for more information.

 

Caman to Croker 

 

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club extends sincere best wishes to its U12 Panel of players, and team management, on forthcoming participation in a "Caman to Croker" at Dublin's Croke Park Stadium on Friday August 18th.

 

Lotto Membership Category News Update 

 

Please note that the Lotto Membership year of 2022/2023, ends on Thursday August 31st 2023.

The 2023/2024 Lotto Membership year, will commence on Friday September 1st, and will conclude on Saturday August 31st 2024.

Current 2022/2023  lotto membership category members, and intending new members, who alike, wish to sign up with Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club, to be 2023/2024 lotto membership category members, are please requested to speak to/contact, Richard (Dickie) Carroll.

 

U14 Camogie Championship 

 

Lough Lene Gaels is drawn to play Cullion in a Division 1 Cup semi final fixture of the U14 Camogie Championship on Monday evening, August 28th, with a match starting time of 6.30pm.

Raharney, the defending champions, and Castletown Geoghegan, will contest the other U14 Camogie Championship Division 1 Cup semi final, also scheduled to be played on Monday evening August 28th, and also with a match starting time of 6.30pm.

 

The final of this competition is scheduled to be played in mid September.

 

U12 Camogie League 

 

Lough Lene Gaels is scheduled to play St Munnas in the Division 1 Cup final of the U12 Camogie League on Sunday September 3rd.
