U10 girls to play in Croke Park

Our U10 girls have been invited as one of three clubs to represent Westmeath in Croke Park for the LGFA activity day on Thursday, April 13.

This is very exciting news for the girls and their mentors. Family and friends are welcome to come and support from the stands. We are planning to run a bus so watch this space!

Clothing drive fundraiser

We are running a clothing drive at St James’ Park this Saturday, April 1 from 10am to 2pm.

All types of clothes in wearable condition, including shoes, belts, hats and handbags, will be accepted. Contact Kelly-Anne on 086 354 0476 to arrange drop-off.

Scór na nÓg final

Commiserations to our Instrumental Music and Figure Dancing acts who, despite giving an excellent account of themselves, came up just short at last Sunday’s Westmeath Scór na nÓg final in The Downs.

Representing us in the Instrumental Music were Guy Larkin, Charlie Larkin, Laurence Bohan, Noah Gorman and Ben Gorman. Our Figure Dancers consisted of Tara McMahon, Kasey Cornally, Layla Cornally, Alanna Cuskelly, Aden Lamar, Emelia Ryan, Alanna Costello, Ellen-Jo McLoughlin, Emer McDonnell, Ashling McDonnell, Faye Marshall and Tessa Marshall.

Our Figure Dancers will be on stage again this Thursday when they return to The Downs to represent Scoil an Chlochair in the Scór na bPaistí finals.

Membership

Membership is due before March 31 and can be paid on Foireann. Payment can also be made by cash to Shaun Pidgeon or Mel Kiernan. Remember, if you're not a paid-up member, you're not insured to play.

Last week’s lucky numbers were 14, 15, 19 and 28. Frank Larrigy was the only Match 3 winner. Thanks to everyone for their support. The jackpot is capped at €15,000. You can purchase your tickets in local shops or online.
