Congratulations to our three Player of the Year winners who were presented with their awards on our recent end-of-season trip.

St. Stephen's Day fun run / walk

Having been cancelled last year due to the pandemic, club stalwart Dermot Smith’s annual 6k fun run / walk in aid of CHI at Crumlin returns this St. Stephen's Day.

Starting time is 12 noon, with registration taking place in the Kilbeggan Parish Centre. You can also register online or make a donation by logging onto www.myrunresults.com. For more information, contact Dermot on 087 776 7887.

Open to all ages, the event is a great way to work off the festive feastings.

The late Johnny Moran

Sympathy is extended to the family of Johnny Moran whose death occurred last week.

Hailing from Walderstown, Athlone, Johnny was a great Maryland GAA man who served as a selector when Westmeath won the All-Ireland MFC title in 1995. He is fondly remembered by the many young footballers in the South Westmeath area who he transported to and from county training and matches in his bus. RIP.
