Movathon

Well done and a big thank you to everyone who contributed to the Westmeath GAA Movathon for March. It was great to see so many club members and supporters get behind David Lynch in his great half-marathon time, alongside other members who completed their own challenges throughout the month.

 

Congratulations

We send our congratulations to Jack Gallagher who passed out with army in Custume Barracks, Athlone last week. We wish him all the best in the future. Also to Diarmuid Garvin and his new wife Lisa who got married during the week. We wish them all the best for the future.

 

Sympathies

We extend our deepest to the family of Johnny Hannify who passed away earlier this week. Johnny was a great Scor man and won an All-Ireland question time with St Joseph’s. A great supporter of Malachys and Castletown. A native of Longford but done so much for Scor in Westmeath. May he rest in peace.
