Award Winners

Normally we hold our annual presentation night for our award winners of 2020 at this time but due to covid restrictions we are unable to do so this year. This year marks the 20th year of these much coveted awards where we honour Senior and Underage Player of The Year for 2020 as well as Club Person of the year. We are delighted to announce that David Lynch was selected as the Senior Player of The Year with Peter Dalton receiving the Underage accolade. The unanimous choice for Club Person of The Year went to our hardworking committee member Sinead Kiernan who really put her shoulder to the wheel in what was a very difficult year for all GAA Gaels. Congrats to our three worthy winners and we will have pictures of each of them receiving their awards on our website www.stmalachys.ie (where a list of all award winners since 2001 can be found) and social media sites as well as in the local papers. We thank Colin and Deirdre Clarke of Clarke Security Solutions for their generous sponsorship of our players awards and for their continued support to community projects in the locality.
