Gaa: Our seniors played there last remaining game in this year’s championship, where we took on Coralstown Kinnegad last Saturday evening in Castletown Geoghegan. The game was to see who is seeded in the next years SFC. Unfortunately we never really got going throughout the game. We hit some early scores courtesy of Declan Mullen and Sean Pettit. Kinnegad struck for an all important goal midway through the first half. They followed this by kicking two quick fire scores at the start of the second half to take a 5 point lead into the remaining 15 mins of the game. Our lads tried their best to rally , but we couldn’t cut the deficit. Final score was Rosemount 0.07, to Kinnegad’s 1.08.

Commiserations to the Cill Oige u17’s who were narrowly defeated by Tubberclair last Saturday in the county semi final after a gallant performance.

Congratulations to Aaron Keane who won a bronze medal in the 200m National Junior Track & Field Championships in Santry last weekend. Well done Aaron.
