Last Man Standing
It's that time of year again - less than two weeks to go to our annual National League Last Man Standing competition.
Who will take over as champion from Ryan Delaney and walk away with the €400 prize money? Entry is just €10 and can be paid to any club player or member. To enter, just provide an email address as this will be your means of making your selection each week and receiving instructions and confirmation of your selections.
All money raised will go towards the development of the club. If you have any questions, please leave a comment or send an email to [email protected]. Closing date for entry in Friday, January 24 2020 and thanks to Mel Kiernan for organising the competition once again.
New jersey
We recently took delivery of a new set of alternative jerseys from O'Neill's. The newly-designed dark blue and maroon jerseys will be worn by our adult men's teams in the event of a clash of colours with the opposition and replicas will soon be available to buy on the O'Neill's store website.
Conor Mullins
Congratulations to Conor Mullins on receiving the Westmeath Examiner Sports Award for August for his achievements in Pitch & Putt at the Mullingar Park Hotel last Friday night.
The late Paddy Ennis
Sympathy is extended to the Ennis family on the passing of Paddy Ennis, late of Castletown-Geoghegan and Terenure, last week. May he rest in peace.
Lotto
Last week's lucky numbers were 2, 14, 19 and 25. Michael Wyer from Rahugh was the only Match 3 winner. This week's draw takes place in Larrigy's with the jackpot standing at €13,300. Tickets, costing €2, can be purchased locally. Thank you for your continued support.
