Happy New Year
We want to wish all our club members, footballers and the entire community a peaceful, happy and prosperous 2020. This year promises to be a very busy and active one for our club, both on and off the field of play. We're looking forward to your support during it.
National Club Draw
Tickets are now available through club committeer members and footballers. They cost just €10 and there are great prizes on offer. All proceeds go towards our club so please look out for ticket sellers and support this important club fundraiser.
Pitch Development
Fundraising continues at pace for our development work. We ended the year positively with the news that our planning permission and Leader funding application were approved along with us raising over 50% of own funding requirements. Over the next two months, we need to work hard to complete our fundraising so that we can proceed at pace into the development work itself. We ask anyone who hasn't joined our investors draw yet to please consider it so we can realise our dream of upgrading our facilities for our current and future generations of footballers.
Lilliput Gaels AGM
Our juvenile club AGM takes place on Friday 10th January at 19:30 in CTG clubhouse. Following a successful year for our underage footballers at all grades, there is plenty to plan for in 2020. All are welcome and we especially encourage all parents to please attend this important meeting.
Ballinagore Macra Table Quiz
Our local Macra club are holding their annual table quiz and personality interviews on Friday 17th January in The Bodhran, Ballinagore. This is always a fun and interesting event and we look forward to seeing you all on the night. Our event begins at 9.30pm with MC and Quizmaster Mick Heeney.
Sympathy
We extend our deepest sympathy to the Keoghan family, Kilbeggan, on the tragic passing of Ritchie Keoghan Jnr. We also extend our sympathy to Sandra O'Brien on the death of her mother, Adice Lawrence. May they Rest in Peace.
