St Josephs club notes

November 25, 2019

Our most recent draw took place on the 24th November in the beech Tree, Streamstown; once again we had no winner of our massive €10,000 jackpot. We had 4 match three winners; Jimmy Gaynor, Stephen Sheil, Seamus Robbins and Brenda & Stephen McEvoy. The Numbers drawn were 9, 12, 15 and 28. Next Draw will take place on the weekend of the 8th of December in Ryan’s of Horseleap.

Scor Na nOg

Scor Na nOg took place in Milltown on the 24th November and St Josephs were represented on the day in Solo Singing, Recitation, Novelty Act and Set Dancing. All of our competitors did the club proud but special mention goes to Dylan Weir Norris his first time competing in the recitation, and to Aoife Keegan who after just 4 weeks dancing with the rest of the set dancing girls more than held her own. Huge Congratulations’ go to the Set Dancers and the Novelty Act team who now go forward to the County Final in the Downs GAA centre on Sunday the 1st of December at 2pm.

St Joseph’s Ladies

Well done to the Minor Girls and their mentors who have now reached a county final after a hard fought game against a very good Goldsmiths side
