Castletown Geoghegan Pen Pictures - Senior Final 2013
Paddy Maloney
Playing in his fourth county final, Paddy has played at all levels for club and county. Hoping to secure his first senior medal between the posts for Castletown Geoghegan, having been a panel member in 2004. If paddy is on song, we won't be too far away.

Eamonn Óg Clarke
We could nearly drop the Óg part at this stage. Has grown into the role of Corner Back since playing his first senior final there two years ago. A teak tough and intelligent player, would love to add a second medal to the one earned as a panel member in 2004.

Emmett Dalton
Playing his fifth county final on Sunday, Emmett has excelled in this position since 2004. His ability in the air and at his feet is unquestioned, and it is hard to imagine the Full Back position without him.

Paul Fennell
Will play in his second county final on Sunday, having been introduced as a substitute in the 2011 decider. Difficult defender to play against as he has the pace and skill to be first to the ball every time. Has the full set of underage medals with his club and intends to add the senior on Sunday to complete the set.

Liam Varley
Youngest player on the team playing in his first senior final but this will not faze him. Has shown all the experience required to date, and will no doubt do so again on Sunday.

Ronan Whelan
Playing in his fifth county final this year, he captained the side two years ago. Missed out on playing in the 2004 final, having been top scorer in the championship up to that point. Has played most of his hurling in the backs in recent years, but can still take a score if the opportunity arises.

Dean McDermott
Another debutante. Has not put a foot wrong since getting the nod at Corner Back in the first round against Delvin. Has since moved to the Half Back-line. Strong and determined, shows no fear of the big occasion.

Joe Clarke (Captain)
Captaining the side for the third time in a final, having done so for the draw and replay of 2006. Started the Minor and Senior finals of 2002 on the same day as a sixteen year old. Joseph is a leader on and off the field and would love to lead his side to victory on Sunday, adding a second senior championship medal to the 2004 prize, earned at corner forward.

David Fennell
Will play his second county final on Sunday having started at Wing Back in the 2011 decider. Like his twin brother Paul, David is strong and skilful, and has cut through the best backlines in the county to take vital scores.

David Lynch
In his second championship year with the 'black and amber', David has played in the number ten position for most of the championship. His speed and sharpness is unmatched on the panel and he has scored some fine points from the wing. Hard working and committed, would love to win a senior championship on Sunday.

Niall O'Brien
Sunday will see him playing in his second county final, having lined out at Corner Forward two years ago. Has grown into the role of Centre Forward this year, and has been deadly accurate from frees and open play in the championship to date. Has played at all levels for club and county and hopes to win his first senior medal with Castletown Geoghegan.

Blaine Lahart
Second only in pace to David Lynch, but this is because of a troublesome knee. Blaine will play in his fifth county final on Sunday, and hopes to add a second medal to that earned in 2004 as a Corner Forward. He scored three points on that occasion, and will settle for one on Sunday, if it helps Castletown become county champions for the twelfth time.

Aonghus Clarke
Will play in his second county final having lined out at Midfield two years ago. Has gained huge experience with his club and county over the last two years, and anyone who witnessed his performance in the Under 21 final will appreciate the ability he has.

Alan Mangan
Has held the Full Forward berth since the Castlepollard game and has made an ample contribution to the scoreboard since then. Accurate from distance or close range, if first to the ball he is very difficult to dispossess. Started his career as our net minder in the 1996 final and was at Wing Forward for the 2004 success.

Kieran Glennon
This will be Kieran's first senior final to play in, having been a panel member in 2011. Very fast and skilful hurler who has won every honour at underage level for his club, and has played at all levels for his county. Would love to win a Senior medal on Sunday.

Derek Gallagher
One of the most talented hurlers in the county over the last twenty years, Derek has played a vital role in six county finals since his first in 1993. Centre Half-Back on the 2004 team. He will have a big role to play again if Castletown are to be successful this time out.

Patrick Clarke
Another very experienced player with an eye for goal, he was held in reserve until the semi-final against Lough Lene Gaels. Has played all over the field for Castletown and was at Right Half-Forward on the 2004 Championship winning team. Played his first final for Castletown at Corner Forward in 1996, and the Full Forward line is where he will make an impact on Sunday.

Diarmuid Garvin
Captain of this years' Under 21 Championship winning team, this will be Diarmuid's second county final, having lined out at Corner Back two years ago. Very strong player who is good in the air and once in possession, difficult to stop.
Neal Kirby
Introduced as a substitute in the 2011 final, Neal is a pacey player with great skill. Best fielder of a high ball on the panel. Started championship games against Delvin and Raharney (Quarter Final). Was Corner Forward on this years' successful Under 21 team. Neal knows where the goalposts are if called upon.

David Langan
Lined out in the middle of the park in the 2006 and 2011 finals, this will be David's fifth final to be involved in, having also been a member of the 2004 panel. Another great fielder of the ball, David never leaves anything in the dressing room, and Sunday will be no different.

Shane Clavin
This is Shane's first year on the panel and he has made a real impact. He was free taker for our Intermediate team this year and was also a member of the successful Under 21 team. Shane is a strong player with great potential. Member of this years' county Minor teams in both hurling and football.

Darren Ruane
Another member of the 2011 Championship Final team, Darren played a key role in this years' Intermediate and Under 21 teams where he lined out as a Half-Forward. Can score goals and points from distance as he showed in this years' Under 21 Final, and is very comfortable on the ball.

Conor Keegan
Centre Forward on this years' Intermediate team which reached the championship semi-final. Conor is a skilful hurler who can score points from any angle. Would love to be make an impact on Sunday.

Sean Whelan
Sean captained our Intermediate team this year and has won championships at all levels for his club. This will be Sean's fourth final. Very difficult player to mark, Sean is a knacky Corner Forward who can pop up for a score at any time.

Colin O'Brien
A ground hurling protagonist, Colin believes in moving it quick. Very effective at Midfield for our intermediate team this year and if there is a hard ball to be won, there a few better. Can take a point if the opportunity arises and would love to cross the white line on Sunday.

Eoin Quinn
Half Back on the Intermediate and Under 21 teams this year, Eoin is another of the young crop and is showing great promise in that position. There are very few guaranteed their place in modern hurling and Eoin is ready to step into the breach if called upon.

Michael Heeney
Michael is a very determined and committed player who is just as comfortable in the backs as in the forwards. Great reader of the game and often quickest to react, he was a regular on the Intermediate and Under 21 sides this year.

John Gallagher
Another very skilful hurler who is a joy to watch. John has won championships from Under 12's right up to Under 21's with his club. This will be his third final, having been working away from home for the 2011 campaign. Corner Back on this years' Intermediate team, John has held many a corner forward scoreless.

Kieran McDonnell
Kieran has been plagued with injury this year but has recovered well towards the latter end of the season. Member of this years' Intermediate and Under 21 panels, he is a tight marking Corner Back and rarely gives up an easy score.

Seán Mullarkey
Another young player who has great potential. Sean showed his versatility in the Half Back and Half Forward lines for the Intermediate team that reached the championship semi-final, and was also a member of this years' successful Under 21 outfit.

Alan Clarke
Yet another versatile young player, Alan played at Corner Back and Corner Forward at various stages of this years' Intermediate championship. Played in the Under 21 Final victory over Cú Chulainn this year.

Robert Burge
This will be Roberts' fourth Senior championship final to be involved in. He has won championships at all underage levels with Castletown and was a member of this years' Intermediate panel. Would love to see Castletown succeed on Sunday.

Liam Cassidy
First year on the panel, Liam is a player for the very near future. Made an impression on both the Intermediate and Under 21 teams this year and was a member of this years' county minor panels in football and hurling.
