Stephen Frampton breaks away
Stephen Frampton has quit the Waterford senior hurling panel just three weeks before their Munster SHC clash with Cork. It is understood that the talented half back, who has played for the Decies since 1990, was set to lose his first team place to Brian Greene and was not content to remain on the panel as a fringe player. It is also claimed that Frampton was asked by manager Justin McCarthy to remain on the panel but he declined the offer.
