Lancashire champions John Mitchells advanced to the semi Final of the all Britain junior Championship with a comfortable 1-18 to 2-04 win over Young Irelands in Leeds on Sunday.
The will go on to meet Scottish Champions Dunedin Connollys from Edinburgh in the semi final which will take place next sunday week the 21st october at Greenbank Rd Liverpool and throw in is at 1pm sharp. Meanwhile at Old Bedians St Ann's beat Oisin by 6-06 to 2-08 in the Wolf Tone League quarter final to set up a meeting with St Brendans in the semi final.
This game will take place on Sunday 21st October at Hough End 1Pm.This game has been advertised to take place this weekend but this has been altered.The winners will play St Peters in the final for which date and venue will be confirmed later.
St Peters hold their annual dinner dance at the Lancashire Cricket club on Saturday 27th october.They are celebrating their 30th anniversary and Fergal Kiernan chairman of St Peters is keen to get in contact with any ex players who may be interested in attending their celebrations.Tickets can be purchased from any committee members and contact can be made to Sean Hopkins on 07850733923.

At underage Oisin under 10s defeated St Brendans at old Bedians last Saturday by 4-06 to 2-02 in which was a dress rehersal for the under 10 championship final.This will take place at Old Bedians on saturday 20th October at 2.30pm. Brenda Harkins St Mary's will contest the under 12 final against St Brendans which will take place on Saturday 27th October at Old Bedians at 16.30pm.
