The revised plans for Casement Park revealed in October 2016

The UK-Ireland bid to UEFA to host the 2028 European Football Championships includes the yet to be built Casement Park but not Croke Park.

While GAA headquarters was on the original list of 14 stadia submitted, it has been omitted from the final 10.

With the Aviva Stadium included, the stipulation that no city bar London could have more than one stadia included meant that Croke Park was taken off the list.

Casement Park, which currently lies abandoned and has finally been granted planning permission for redevelopment, is included.

The other stadia included in the list of ten are Wembley Stadium, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Etihad Stadium, St James' Park, the new Everton Stadium and Villa Park.

The Millennium Stadium in Wales and Hampden Park in Scotland are the final two stadia included.
