Our ladies team travelled to Goodmayes on Saturday and had a convincing win over Holloway Gaels in the opening round of the league. Meanwhile in Greenford, the men had a tough league encounter with Tir Chonaill Gaels who produced a strong second half display to defeat the Harps by five points.

Next weekend the men face Parnells in a long-awaited intermediate football championship semi-final which had been postponed since last autumn. The ladies are also in league action against the same opposition.

Training continues on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for the men’s team. The ladies will take a break for the bank holiday before returning to training as normal on Wednesday. All sessions start at 7.00pm on Peckham Rye Common. Players are reminded to read the latest guidelines, complete the eLearning module and/or submit the online health status questionnaire, as required.
