Even missing a few of their regulars, our U16 lads produced the best performance of the season to date away to 2nd places Naomh Padraig in Derrytresk last Tuesday. The team emerged victorious on a final scoreline of 4:15 to 5:09 in what was an enthralling game. Hit with two early goals at the start of the match, the lads showed resolve responding in kind with goals from Caolan Kilpatrick and Christopher Staunton. Midfield heroics from Conall Fox were a key factor to the team being within touching distance at the break. The intensity stepped up a gear in the second half with both teams going toe to toe in a physical contest. Michael Gormley kicked two penalties and a number of spectacular points which helped by a galant defensive effort sealed a much deserved two point win. Special mention must go to the youngest man on the field, Luke Donnelly, whose non stop brave performance was a major factor in the teams success. The final league game is away to Cookstown on Wednesday evening.

Training continues for our U8,10 and 12's on Wednesday evenings from 7-8pm with the U12's away to Galbally Tuesday 28th.

Our U8's had another home blitz on Saturday past and once again the weather gods were kind. We hosted Beragh, Fintona and Galbally. Some very entertaining games played but most importantly every lad in a club jersey enjoyed themselves. Thanks to all who helped out in any way, the referees, sandwich makers and ladies who made the tea and made sure nobody left Killeeshil hungry. Special mention again to our Games Co-ordinator, Conor Holland, who kept things running smoothly.
A great evenings football played last Thursday night during the U8 and 10 girls " in-house blitz", Tyrone, Dublin, Cork and Galway all fought for bragging rights as the best team. The girls enjoy game play much more than drills so why wait until the scheduled blitz's when they can have just as good a competition in their own Club. With Tyrone coming out the Cup Winners and Cork and Galway drawing in the Shield final, it seem Dublin was the only team to loose out, let's hope it's the same story this weekend. Well done girls. Training again this Thursday from 6-7pm.

All-Ireland Final weekend, everyone at Killeeshil GFC wishes Mickey and the team all the very best in their quest to land Sam Maguire for the first time since 2008. Safe journey to everyone travelling to Dublin over the weekend and enjoy the occasion.
