Another busy weekend of the senior club championship action around the country commences tomorrow night (Friday) with the Tyrone SFC semi-final replay between Carrickmore and Loughmacrory.
Last Sunday afternoon saw both sides playing out a thrilling 1-16 to 0-19 draw at O’Neills Healy Park, where Pauraic Meenagh’s free in the last minute of normal time secured a draw for Loughmacrory in the derby.
The two sides now meet again tomorrow evening at the same Omagh venue to determine which of them will be meeting Trillick St MacCartan’s in the county senior football championship final the weekend after next.
Trillick dethrone Errigal Ciaran with a 1-13 to 1-11 victory last Sunday night, with late scores the difference from Daire Gallagher and James Garrity the difference as they booked their return to the O’Neill Cup decider and sent the Ulster champions packing in the process.
