Eire Óg, Carrickmore completed a four-in-a-row of Tyrone SHC titles following a 1-15 to 2-6 victory over Eoghan Ruadh, Dungannon in Sunday’s final at Healy Park.
Justy Kelly’s early goal gave the holders the perfect start, only for Branan Molloy to reply with a green flag at the other end. But Eire Óg upped the ante after that to open up a 1-8 to 1-2 lead before Kiefer Morgan netted for Eoghan Ruadh to leave just three in it at the break.
The Dungannon men grabbed the first two scores of the second half to reduce the deficit to the minimum, but that was as good as it got for them as the black and ambers rattled off the next six points to reassert their authority.
