COVID 19 - Urney St. Columba's Support

Following last week's announcement from the NI executive we have decided to reintroduce our support network.

Urney St. Columba's are aware of the potential hardship that COVID-19 and the resulting isolation may bring to many vulnerable and elderly members of our club and community.

We have set up a facility whereby people can call on us if they require assistance acquiring food or other necessities such as medical prescriptions.

There may be people living outside the area that are concerned for people within the locality, we will do our best to check on their family and loved ones.

Our volunteers will do all we can to make sure that no one in the area is left isolated during the next few weeks.

If you need us or if you can assist us with this facility please private message the clubs page or telephone

Nicola McLaughlin 07713 255842

Steven Mayse 07753 611499

Veronica McMenamin 07546 272905

Melanie Sweeney 00353 879152857

As a club we can all pull together during this difficult period.

Please share this information with anyone you think will benefit from it.

The Tyrone U20's were also in action last weekend when they faced Dublin in the All Ireland Semi Final. Unfortunately the young lads just came up a little short and Dublin advanced to the final. Full time score Dublin 1-14 Tyrone 1-12.

The Tyrone minors are also in action next weekend, they will face Donegal in the Ulster MFC Quarter final, throw in next Saturday 24th October at 11.30 in Ballybofey, the game will be shown live on https://ulster.gaa.ie/2020/10/ulster-gaa-announces-streaming-service-for-minor-football-championship/

Everyone connected to Urney St. Columba's would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the family, friends and team mates of Johnny Curran, Coalisland.

Mary queen of gaels pray for them.
