Tributes pour in for former Kerry hurling goalkeeper

Tributes have poured in for Patrick Corridon, a former Kerry hurling goalkeeper, who passed away yesterday following a battle with illness.

Patrick made a significant contribution to his beloved Ballyheigue hurling club on and off the field and was a highly respected referee in Kerry GAA.

In a fitting tribute, Ballyheigue GAA remembered Patrick as “a gentle and caring soul who would do everything in his power to help those in need.”

The Kerry Hurling & Games Development said: “Patrick was an absolute gentleman. He will be greatly missed by everyone and in particular in the hurling community in Kerry.”
