Waterford's former All-Star midfielder and selector Stephen Molumphy has transferred to the Éire Óg club in Oxford.
The 37-year-old army officer has been living and working in Oxfordshire since last August as he completes a year-long Advanced Command and Staff course, linked to an MA in King's College in London, for commandants and lieutenant colonels.
Molumphy had helped his home club Ballyduff Upper to the West Waterford intermediate hurling final prior to his move to the UK. He continued his involvement as a Waterford selector from afar before stepping down in the aftermath of the Deise's All-Ireland final defeat to Limerick.
He was an All-Star in 2007 and captained Waterford to the Munster SHC title in 2010. His vast experience as a player and coach would be a big addition to Hertfordshire outfit Éire Óg.
