A goal for Tipperary forward Seamus Callanan in Sunday’s Munster SHC clash against Clare would see him become the sole record breaker for championship goals in the county.
Callanan’s three-pointer against Waterford last time out saw him draw level with former team mate Lar Corbett on 29 goals.
The Drom & Inch player is sure to surpass Corbett in the near future and Tipp supporters would love if it was against a Clare side that eliminated them from the Munster SHC last year.
Having made his championship debut in 2008, Callanan has played 49 championship games scoring a total of 29-200 according to the Tipperary Star.
