Mark Breen has been appointed as the new Tipperary minor football manager for 2027.

The Loughmore/Castleiney clubman has extensive experience within the county’s underage set-up, having managed the Tipperary U16 Football Academy this year and the U15 side in 2025.

Breen succeeds Kevin Mulcahy in the role and is set to be joined by Aherlow’s Shane Russell as head coach, with Dan O’Donovan, Cormac Maher, Podge Langton and former senior manager Peter Creedon also part of the management team.

His appointment completes a busy period for Tipp’s underage teams. Eoin Kelly was recently appointed as the Premier County's new minor hurling manager, with his management team now confirmed, while former minor boss James Woodlock has moved into the U20 role.
