November 14, 2011

Ballyboden St. Endas' Dean Curran closes in on Brendan O'Meara of Coolderry during the Leinster Club SHC semi final at Parnell Park
Coolderry (Offaly) 1-18
Ballyboden St Enda's (Dublin) 0-15
Offaly champions Coolderry scored an impressive victory over Ballyboden St Enda's yesterday at Parnell Park to move into the Leinster club senior hurling championship final.
Barry Teehan's first-half goal paved the way for victory for Coolderry, who led by 1-11 to 0-8 at half-time after top-scorer Damien Murray set-up the centre-forward for a brilliant finish to put the visitors in control.
All Star Paul Ryan had done most of the damage for the Dublin champions through frees and in the second-half they would narrow the gap to four via the scores of David Curtin and David O'Connor.
Ken Hogan's team weren't about to show any signs of letting up though as they struck seven points in the remaining 25 minutes of play, during which Cathal Parlon blossomed, to set-up a showdown with Oulart-The-Ballagh.
