Naomh Brid Camogie Club Notes

December 06, 2021

The Naomh Brid team that took on Raharney in Sunday's Leinster Junion Semi Final.

Leinster Club Championship

Our commiserations to our Senior girls who lost to Raharney in the Semi Final of the 2020 Leinster Club Championship in Coolderry on Sunday.  The girls put in a fantastic effort and led for most of the match but came up just short in the end but cannot be faulted for the effort they put in.  Well done girls and you can hold your head high over the Winter months and reflect on the pride you have reinforced in our club colours.

Thank you to everyone that turned out on Sunday to support the girls.  It really was greatly appreciated.

As that wraps up our teams' activities for this year we would like to thank everyone that helped us during 2021.  Thank you to Coolderry GAA club for the use of the pitch and facilities.  Thank you also to the parents of all our players for bringing the girls to training and matches.  Finally, thank you also to our sponsors who have supported us financially at a time when businesses themselves have been challenged by Covid restrictions.

Our club would not exist if it was not for all the fantastic volunteers that give up their time and energy to run our club and train and coach our girls, so to our wonderful coaches, we cannot thank you enough for everything you do for the girls.

Also, to our committee who run our club, to say thank you does not seem enough but we hope that you feel a sense of pride in the work you do when you see our girls laughing and smiling at training and every time you see our teams lining out on the pitch and wearing our jersey.
