Training continues every Saturday morning in Emyvale Leisure Centre for our U7 and U9 club members. U7 train from 10-11 and U9 train from 11-12. All new members welcome and parents are encouraged to stay to encourage their child during training. €1 per child to cover hall rental.
U11 training will begin training on Thursday 22nd February in Corracrin NS GP room at 7pm to 8pm. Please bring gum shield, water and €2 to cover the hall rental. The U11's took part in the first blitz of the season on Saturday morning in St Macartan's sports hall. This indoor league was a great way to start the season for our U11 squad. Great performances and team playing throughout the matches, well done lads and coaches. The next blitz will take place this Saturday 24th February in St.Macartan's sports hall.
U13 continue training in St Macartans on Monday evenings from 6.45pm.to 8pm. Any parents willing to get involved with Juvenile training are most welcome, all help at training sessions is greatly appreciated.
Anyone who has not yet registered with the club for the coming season should do so as soon as possible. Please contact a member of the coaching team. Family membership is available.
On Saturday evening, the Juvenile players in the club were presented with their winning medals for the 2017 season. U12, U14 and Feile players were all presented with their medals by local county player Darren Hughes. A great evening was had by all, and it was lovely to see so many families there to support their future stars!. Thanks to Peadar McMahon for coming along to take pictures on the night. Thanks also to Darren Hughes for taking the time out of his busy schedule to present the medals and also for his valuable advice to our young players.
There is some coaching and development courses being run by Monaghan County Board in the coming months. If you would like to register for these please contact any member of the Juvenile committee.
