The semi-final line-up for this weekend's Monaghan SFC semi-finals has been decided.

In a repeat of last year's decider, Ballybay will do battle with holders Scotstown following their 2-16 to 0-12 victory over Carrickmacross on Saturday.

Goals from Shane McGuinness and Patrick O'Neill either side of the break saw the Pearse Brothers advance to the last four at the Emmets' expense in Aughnamullen.

Ballybay will be hoping to scupper Scotstown's five-in-a-row bid when the sides meet at Clontribret on Saturday (4.30pm).

Meanwhile, in Emyvale yesterday, Monaghan minor star Aaron Mulligan netted the only goal of the game as Latton defeated Truagh 1-13 to 0-12 to set up a meeting with Conor McManus' Clontibret in Castleblayney on Sunday at 2pm.
