Great to get Garrigan in, he was the main man in the Meath ladies setup in terms of bringing in others in the management team. He could have similar freedom here. O'Rourke will deal with the media and look after the players off the pitch, leaving Garrigan to head up the coaching, tactics etc. Eugene Ivers will probably join now too as S&C after Eamon Murray has stepped down. royal11 (Meath) - Posts: 99 - 29/08/2022 14:20:08 2439032 Link 0 |
I believe Ivers was confirmed previously. Might've been announced before the ladies final. Maybe i'm wrong so if someone else knows more, i'm open to being corrected.

Eivers has been involved before, I think it was earlier in Andy McEntee's spell Belt (Meath) - Posts: 272 - 30/08/2022 17:10:15 2439188 Link 0 |
I don't think he was, I think it was John Coghlan and then Niall Ronan. I am very happy with Eivers appointment his record speaks for itself with Donegal and the Meath ladies. Garrigan done brilliant stuff with the ladies, he will probably have to coach a slightly different style with the lads but his record is so good so I don't doubt that he can do it. I'm happy with this backroom team. Probably a few more names to come that might not be announced as publicly but so far I am quite happy

No complaints with backroom team, overall looks like a well balanced set up. Big job ahead so best of luck to all of them. seadog54 (Meath) - Posts: 2193 - 06/09/2022 18:40:14 2439874 Link 8 |
