Replying To thelutch:  "Just a very genuine question regarding the parish rule.

If you have multiple clubs in a parish e.g

Kells - 3 clubs

Navan - 3 clubs

Can you just choose anyone you want at the start ?"
Yeah you pretty much can. I'm originally from Kells town and lived in the town until i left for college but was involved with Kilmainham. Another family member was involved with Drumbaragh and our father was briefly involved with Cortown even though he was Kells born and bred. Think in Navan it's more where you go to school, so anyone going to school in the town is O'Mahony's, anyone in St Olivers i think is Simonstown and the one's around Johnstown are Walterstown. Obviously family connections will dictate some of that too.

Just for reference ,and as a correction , Jordan Morris played all his Juvenile football in Meath .
Morris played U12 -U14 with Nobber GFC . After that he played in amalgamations up to Minor level . He was on the Meath U14 team / U15/ U16/U17/U18/U20/U21 team and now he is on the Senior team .
He attended as a first year Student in O Carolan Community College .Played his schools football and basketball there , wining titles along the way .
Unfortunately , the team that he won the intermediate championship with in Nobber did not progress and they came back down for Senior grade quite quickly . However I would imagine Kings court Stars would have been in his ear for some time anyway.
His Grandfather on his mothers side was one of the mainstays of Nobber GFC , however that gentleman passed away a number of years ago. so his family ties to the club may no longer be as strong as they were .
Best of luck to him in his endeavours a Gaelic Footballer , hopefully he won't jump out of the Intercounty set up going forward . And the County Management team , and the Clubs and Co Board realise that nurturing talent is better that whipping it .

It is Navan parish. End of. Johnstown and Walterstown are the 1 parish but hell knows what houses are built on the border of Navan and Johnstown parishes!

I see he came on last night for Summerhill last night. The Hill will no doubt get a free pass on raiding a small struggling meath junior club. If it was an Ashbourne Dunboyne or Ratoath there be posters up in arms on here about it.

Wouldn't call it raiding, Adam hasn't played with Clonard for nearly 2 years, could be 3.

It's a hard one to call, Adam has not played with his club for a couple of years when they hav struggled badly so they could hav done with his presence but from his point of view he wanted to play at a higher standard

It could be a very significant move. Summerhill have to be up there with Ratoath, Dunboyne and Tones in the running for the Keegan Cup this year.
