Lomans Park Trim will be the venue for the Kehoe Cup final between Meath and Wicklow. Both counties advanced to the decider unbeaten. Meath recorded victories over St Pats Mater Dai, Louth and Longford. The Garden County defeated Kildare and Maynooth University while drawing with Fingal in the opening round.
Meath defeated Wicklow in the 2011 Kehoe Cup decider at Arklow 0-16 to 1-11. Interestingly there is not one of that winning Meath team is part of this years squad. The two counties also meet in this competition last year at Lomans Park. The Royals proved too strong on the day winning 2-17 to 0-5.
Meath captain Sean Heavey will be hoping to put Kehoe Cup titles back to back. The Royals defeated Kildare in the final at Newbridge last year.
