Boardsmill 2-18 Kildalkey 1-16

After a big win in Round 1 against Kilmessan Kildalkey intermediate team fell to a stronger Boardsmill on Saturday evening in Dunganny.

2 goals before halftime for Boardsmill left them in front at the break 2-9 to 0-9 after an even enough first half.

Mattie Cully got the village off the mark from a free followed by a point from Michael Carr 4 more Cully frees and good points from Shay Diggins, Mark Healy and Conor Barnwell brought their tally to 9.

Barnwell got them going again in the second half and got another soon after Cully tagged on 2 more frees and Arron Potterton Ben and Matt Rickard got 2 more and a goal from substitute Conor Fitzgerald to bring their tally to 1-16 but it wasn’t enough as Boardsmill tagged on another few points to win by 5 final score Boardsmill 2-18 Kildalkey 1-16.
